Van re-vamp

Generally we start off this page with our hopes for the new year. Last year we didn't manage to achieve a lot of what we wanted, like the van, cani cross. The main reason being we were so busy with the shows. So this year we will just go with the flow and lets see where it takes us. We had such amazing achievements last year, its going to take some beating

With Dollar in season shows are limited this month. We wont be unfair to other exhibitors by putting an in season bitch into the show ring. Also wont risk Dollars health by doing so either.

Gandalf, Jadis and Neil went to Ashford Open show, Jadis took AVNSC Working  3rd  Graduate and Gandalf took AVNSC Working Reserve in Open

A little bit of snow this month, and lots of ice, Neil spent half his time falling over on it. Not really enough for snow pics but did snap these lovely ones of Gandalf and Dollar

Storm won through to the semi finals at match night, well done Stormish, unfortunately she and Jadis were up against one another in the first round so it really was a case of win loose lol

Neil and our dear friend Lynne Etches went to Yeovil Open show, under Debbie Stansbury Gandalf and Jadis have a lovely time. Gandalf gets 2nd in Alaskan Malamute Open and then goes on to get

Jadis does us even prouder and gets

then taking

Then she wins us some money in the Stakes classes by taking 4th so £2 spending money lol. Well done Jadis and Lynne, and thank you Lynne for handling her so very well.

Our next show this month was Huddersfield. Its a long drive but with vicki planning to show Dollar well worth the effort. Dollar performs beautifully and takes 2nd in the Malamute yearling class going on to take

Storm handled by Vicki gets 2nd in open and Gandalf takes 3rd handled by Neil. Dollar then enters AV class and gets

A big well done to Sue with Enzo taking BOB and WG3, Charl and Cruz for RBOB and to the judge Mrs Jane York, this being her first appointment

Neil and Vicki both take their Kennel Club Stewarding Seminar, and Neil takes his requirements of a dog show judge, just waiting with baited breath for the results now.

Neil has accepted his first judging appointment, more details at a later date

*********************************************************************************************************

Jadis and Storm both gain some more points for the end of year match night. Well done girls.

Dollar tries out on the rig with Jadis for the first time and loves it. The pictures didn't come out very well, quite out of focus, need to re read camera instructions lol

Dollar left, Jadis right and Neil being a poser

Great News Neil's been very busy on his Kennel Club Courses in readiness for his first judging appointment. He passes his Requirements of a Dog Show Judge, also passes his KC Hands on Assessment, and takes the Conformation and Movement course. Well done Neil.

Neil is asked to take Dollar along to the hands on seminar so the trainer can show people how to go over different dogs. Dollar is her usual polite self and belches just as the trainer is talking about her. Shes as well behaved as always and shows herself to be a real credit to the sound breeding behind her by Sue Ellis at Chayo

Dollar and Neil at KC seminar with trainer Christine Chapman

We pootle off to East Kent Open Show with lynne and besides having a bit of a wobble Vicki takes Dollar in getting a very respectable 2nd in the AVNSC Working Junior class, Jadis is a naughty girl for Lynne and is looking for mummy when she tries to get her to stand, but still goes on to get a lovely 2nd place. Well done girls

A big well done to Sue Ellis, who takes BEST IN SHOW with the Gorgeous Enzo at an Open show

                                                    ***

We are returning Storms Best in Working Group Winner Trophy this month so thought we had better get some shots of her and the cup.

Salisbury Limit Show Best in Working Group Cup and Ribbon

well done Miss Stormish, shame we have to return it but get to keep the lovely rosette

we also took some lovely shots of Dollars cups and ribbons, the Christchurch one will also have to be returned this year.

Dollar with her Best Puppy in Show Salver and Rosette

Working Puppy Group Winner at Christchurch and New Forest

Dollar with her prizes

We take the three girls along to Salisbury Limit show, mainly as we have to return last years trophy. Vicki shows all three girls and has a fantastic day. Storm gets 2nd in AV Working Open Bitch, Jadis is a good girl and gets

Dollar is a little treasure and shows lovely for Vicki, she gets

and as the show is judged on the group system goes on to get

On the way home we stop and have a lovely walk through the play trail at Moors Valley Country Park. The dogs have a lovely time and it even starts to snow so all in all a rather beautiful day

                                                   ***.

We had the most amazing valentines weekend, but the big day just tops it off. We made the trek up to Gloucester Open show, with Dollar and Storm. Vicki still battling with her confidence takes both girls in the ring. Storm gets a 4th in open, and Dollar does extremely well taking

then goes in for the challenge and takes

and as if that wasn't enough for the day really does our kennel proud by taking the working group

A massive thank you must go to the judges this weekend who have thought so highly of Dollar, especially Lynne Scott, what an amazing day thank you Lynne

                                                    ***

Another good day for us here at Keighanya, we take the trip down to the Ilfracombe show where we have entered both Dollar and Jadis. Jadis enjoys her day as usual and gets 3rd in Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate, Dollar does her mummy proud again by taking

then

and

a lovely day spent with nice dogs and good company, A big well done to Simon with Neeko for Best of Breed, and more top news when we hear that our friend Sarah with the gorgeous Nero take their final points needed for their ShCM - TOP NEWS GUYS!!

                                                         ***

Anya has been back to Anderson Sturgess for what we thought was going to be a check up, again things are never that simple. He finds a lot of fluid in her chest area which is pushing up and distorting her heart. The specialist said that he didn't expect to see this as he thought Anya looked so very well. They shave her side and have taken fluids off for testing. One to see what type of fluid it is, and one to see if the fluid is the result of an infection. The first test is not conclusive so they've sent off samples to another lab for more testing. They are now looking to see if its the result of abnormal cells or a tumour in her chest is causing it. The culture tests show no infection. The rest of the tests should be back next week. I do hate not knowing. Its so heart breaking. Anya appears well in herself, playing with all the others and emptying the toy box.

Neil judges at Salisbury match night, he throughly enjoyed himself and would like to thank them very much for asking him.

                                                         ***

Anyas health is deteriorating. We are still waiting on test results, and she is now on diuretics to see if the breathing is the fluids collecting. We hope to know more by the end of the week, but Vicki wont be going to shows if it means leaving Anya, and at the moment shes not well enough to take with us. Please say a little prayer for our Pan Yan Pickle

                                                       ***

We rushed Anya to the specialist after we reported to him that Anyas breathing reps went up to nearly 50 per min. He said her condition is critical and wanted her in straight away. Once there he drained 3 litres!!!! of fluid from her having to leave 1/2 litre as it was becoming too hard to get out. She was sent home with 2 lots of tablets and asking us to take her breathing reps each day and call him Monday. They have also sent off blood samples to see how the bone marrow is coping with the blood coming away in the fluids. Anya actually ate a bit of food, and by 3 o,clock at resting Anyas breathing was 24 reps. We continue to hope she can fight this latest thing off and we can control it to make her comfortable. So keep sending those prayers.

                                                        ***

We went to support a local companion show, not placed but Dollar was a little star, she stood stock still and didn't move about, played with children and other dogs. I am continually amazed by her and Jadis good nature round children. These two especially adore children.

                                                        ***

With Jadis under the weather Neil and Lynne went on a road trip to Kent County show. Dollar was her usual self for daddy, climbing up him, hitting him and even wooed in the judges ear. But in her class she did well and got

                                                        ***

Anya seems to be picking up a bit, shes eating and playing with the toys. Her breathing reps went right down to 20 on Sunday evening, which is amazing from what it was.

*********************************************************************************************************

A good start to March and Storm and Dollar both attend Christchurch Match night, Storm makes it through some more rounds leaving her only 4 points to go till she qualifies for end of year night. Dollar is handled by our dear friend Sam Etches Moore and does fantastically going

This was out of 28 dogs and under top judge Carole Smedley, thank you again Sam for taking her in

                                                          ***

I judged at swindon ( vicki ) and had a really enjoyable day. The dogs were turned out beautifully, well behaved, superbly handled and a real credit to the breed. I found myself in quite a lot of pain after falling over a pot hole in the car park and hurting my arm and leg but I soon forgot when I got in the ring with all the beautiful dogs.

I found my BOB in Jane Yorks Chayo Sapphire Blue at Snowstruck, my Res BOB was Pol Ch Pol Jr Ch Ilia Lucky Appalachian and BPIB was Casiat Fuori Del Mondo Di Alchawak. Both dogs looked beautiful in group with superb competition. My BP took WPG2. Well done to all of you

Thank you again to everyone for taking time out of your busy weekends to go under me.

                                                             ***

At Oxfordshire show Dollar has her silly head on, for some reason is totally freaked out by the floor, she decides to jump all the lines in the sports hall and refuses to be checked by the judge, sitting down and not having her teeth done. We are pretty sure the issue was with the hall, dimly lit, small stuffy and covered in lines, and the fact people have dropped bait on the mat doesn't help. The noise is horrendous as well. She gets placed 3rd in the AVNSC class. Quite put off by this behaviour we decide to take her back in for her other class, wanting to end the day on a good note rather than a silly one. Dollar fairs much better in the AV Working class, behaving beautifully and powering round the ring. At this point were not bothered if she places just chuffed whatever was bothering her she is overcome but she does us proud taking

                                                             ***

Crufts is fast approaching now with only a few days left to go. We wont be attending, although Gandalf is qualified but hes blowing his coat so we decided not to go. We would just like to wish everyone good luck and we hope you come home with lots of ribbons

                                                            ***

Anya appears to be much much better, the specialist wants to cut down one of her tablets which is making us all quite apprehensive. Shes eating well and playing like a mad thing. So we have been asked to monitor her breathing to see if it starts to cause us concern when she does start to come down on these tablets

                                                            ***

Horsham Dollar went along with Storm just coming along for the ride. We had a lovely day meeting up with friends and their malamutes. Dollar did really well and under Judge Lynne Scott- Overbecks took

and then went on to take

We didn't expect to be placed in the group but she moved like a dream ,the judge who was Ruth Johnston - Dourhu cut the group on 10 down to about 7 and we made it through, chuffed to get that far we then were over the moon when Dollar took

thank you so much to both judges for thinking so highly of our dollar doobah. If we wanted to go for Dollars ShCM she would now have 9 points for it, over a third of the way.

                                                             ***

Woolwich and Bexley Storm and Dollar go along to show and Jadis comes for the ride. I tried Dollar on a new show lead and it was a disaster, she wouldn't get her head up with the half check so back to full check, even if its the nylon slip I used to show Gandalf on. She takes 2nd in AVNSC Working Junior, but then moves much better with lead changed outside again taking 2nd in AV Working Post Graduate. Our dear friends Kerry and Charlie are there and Charlie who is top handler used to show Storm for us so took her in in the two classes she was entered. They slide back into being a good show team and Storm and Charlie take

not content with that goes in the second class and gets

and just to finish the day in true style in for the challenge and win!!

Thank you so much Charlie we are over the moon and so pleased to be back in the ring with you. Its like the good old days!!

We didn't go to any shows the last weekend of the month. Anya was rushed back to the specialist where they took off another 3 litres of fluid. This is obviously not good as its hardly any space of time since the last time, Shes not eating and has lost quite alot of weight. We are now on new tablets and she has to return after easter to see if more fluids collecting but the specialist is not hopeful. He said we now have to think whats best for Anya as its starting to fill up so fast and taking its toll on her general health and well being. I cant tell you how much I have cried, I cant bear the thought of being without her. We all feel completely heart broken. We are keeping everything crossed, Anya has such a lust for life and this all seems so very unfair. Treasure every moment with your pet, take in every second. I can only hope that these tablets do the trick. Love you Anya, please don't leave us x

This same weekend some nice person broke into our van, smashing the window and stealing the reversing camera, what nice people there are in the world.

*********************************************************************************************************

We were in two minds as to showing this weekend. Anya is now eating well but we still have Tuesday looming in the not too distant future. As my mum can be with them we decided to go

Silly me though I got the timing wrong as to when we shouldve arrived at Exonain and we were literally there with the milkman, oh well at least we got to choose where to park lol. It was a lovely day with fantastic spirit and lovely people. I showed Storm in the Open class and she took 2nd place. Dollar went in with Sam and did very very well. First she took

then she took

I was completely beside myself, she was such a good girl, but not content with this she then went on to take

We are totally over the moon, she looked gorgeous in BIS ring too. The rosette for group was one of the best we have ever had, a gorgeous purple and gold. What a day!

                                                     ***

The next day we pootle off the Chippenham, we wouldn't have gone if we hadn't got the rosettes. Dollar looks like she may be a real bouncy puppy but does really well for me getting a

Storm shows lovely for daddy and gets Reserve in her class. Well done to everyone who entered. Totally shattered we decided not to go to the show the following day, but fell asleep and woke up alot lot later lol

                                                   ***

Bad news with regard to Anya, the specialist has said the fluid is returing and he's expecting it to be 2-3 weeks, and then we have to make a big decision. We know where this is headed and I've done nothing but cry. My dogs are my world they are the reason for my getting up everyday, for working the hours I work and I would do anything for them. To be told there is nothing more you can do but wait for the time to say goodbye, I feel like I am waiting for my heart to die. Anya has been by my side for over a decade and I so don't want to let her go. If she can go 4 months they will drain again but the specialist isn't hopeful. Love you panni

                                                    ***

We were due to go to Dunstable show but didn't attend. The weather was so lovely we spent a beautiful day with all the dogs in the garden. We did go to Bodmin, which was such a long and tiresome journey. We don't think we will go to that showground again although lovely its a big journey. At Bodmin Dollar and I place 4th in Alaskan Malamute Junior and Jadis does well with Daddy and gets

                                                   ***

On the 13th we had to take our beloved Anya to be put to sleep. She went down hill so fast and was so poorly. We are totally heartbroken. All ive done is cry. I miss her so much, I cant believe she has left us. My mum keeps calling for her. We are devastated. Its all a bit raw but I will do a tribute on her page when I can see the keys and not tears in the way. Good Speed PanYan Pickle my baby, my family, my friend xxx

                                                   ***

We took the ferry over to Isle of Wight with Jadis and Doobah, I hate ferrys, hate flying too so good job we dont want to go away on holiday abroad really. At the Isle of Wight Open Show Jadis gets 3rd in AVNSC Working Open, then she gets

and gorgeous girl goes on to get

I show Dollar and she behaves beautifully. We take

then go on to get

once more into the ring and she and I win the group!

all of  this under judge Lynne Scott - Overbecks

The Best in Show is a long wait but its well worth it. Dollar still on top form and under Jean Sharpe - Bale - Neradmik takes

We are totally over the moon and would like to thank the judges on the day for thinking so highly of Dollar. Dollar is now 1 point away from her ShCM and the BIS also qualifies her for Crufts 2011!! I cant tell you how pleased we are and would like to thank Sue again for our gorgeous girl

First show of the month is South West Working, our friend Simon handled a very very bald Dollar for us and she gets a Reserve in Malamute Junior, Jadis is handled by our friend Lynne Etches and takes 2nd in Post Graduate. Poor Dollar is completely out of coat so we could be heading for season time so can see the next few months being a write off for wins. Poor Simon ended up covered in Dollars fur lol

We have a beautiful picture of Anya up in the lounge, shes up on glass cabinet looking down over the family. The odd thing is though Dollar keeps looking at the photo. She stops what shes doing and stares at it. Quite chilling but comforting in the sense that it seems Anyas prescence can still be felt in the house. I do miss her, I dont think a day goes by when I dont shed a tear over her. Love you panni xx

Dollar goes with Neil and Lynne to Marlborough, we did consider not going as Dollar is completely bald and it seems a bit like skateing uphill. Dollar goes in with Lynne and gets 2nd in Alaskan Malamute Junior but she has a lovely day playing will hille who takes BOB BPIB and PPG4 in the lapphunds. Well done guys chuffed for you. We can see us chasing that ellusive last point for a while , with no coat and seasons looming lol. Poor Dollar looks like a timber wolf, so its doubtful she will be going to any of the championship shows ive booked for her over the next month of so, she couldve told me before I entered lol. Its almost like she walked out of the BIS ring at Isle of Wight and said thats me qualified and dropped the lot!!

Neil takes everyone to the National and hasa lovely day out, Although not placed the dogs were very well behaved and Storm made the cut in the limit bitch class. Congratulations to Charl with the gorgeous Cruz who not only took the CC and BOB he went on to take the working group as well, top news

We made the long trip with the three girls up to the AMCUK Open show, it was very hot and lots of burnt bodies around. Lovely day meeting up with old friends and new. A big thank you to Charlie from Staggan Sleddogs for helping out with handling. Although not placed in the main classes Storm and Jadis both made the cut in the big post grad and limit bitch classes. In stakes Dollar gets Reserve in Junior and Storm gets 2nd.

We went on to miss some of the shows we booked due to Neil and I going down with chest infections which completely knocked us off our feet.

Along with Lynne and Sam of Morval we take our three motley girls to Taunton Premier show. The girls are so well behaved and its lovely to see Shadow, Jadis daddy back in the showring after a long break. Even better to see him win his class! Dollar goes in to the naked special yearling class with Sam and gets 2nd, Neil shows Storm in Oepn and gets a very respectable 2nd also. Jadis is our little star of the day, She wins the Post Graduate class

then going back in the ring, which was a joy to see as she was with her daddy shadow - talk about peas in a pod, she takes

and then to lots of tears and cheers takes

Jadis and Sam Etches Moore in the Working Group ring taking WG3 - photo taken by www.farlapphotograhy.co.uk and used with kind permission

Being a premier show this qualifies her for crufts 2011!!! We are completely over the moon with her. Our thanks go to the judges on the day, especially Bob Croly.

Jadis, Dollar and Daddy go off to Southern Counties, shown by Sam Etches both girls get 3rd places in their classes, many thanks Sam for your continued help and support with our girls.

Neil takes Jadis to SWECA its a long trip but Jadis loves all the attention. She gets 3rd in Alaskan Malamute Open and then gets

In the AV Working Open class she gets

and then gets

We enter our club show with our three girls and again have a really nice dayout. Dollar is very naughty however, bouncying and being a goon, she gets 2nd in Mal Post Grad class and Jadis gets third. Storm shown by mummy fairs better winning the open classs

and goes on to get

In the AV Working Dollar still has her silly head on giving her a 3rd and Jadis 2nd in their respective classes, but Storm again with mummy, wins her class

Shows are limited now as Dollar is well and truely in season. In true awkward fashion her coat however is back, thick and looking lovely lol. The weather is unbearably hot so exercise is also cut down which is a real pain, everyones dieting so needs it lol. Ive lost 2 stone in weight, still a long way to go but every mountain you climb starts with small steps.

We give a few of the shows we booked a complete miss, not only is Dollar in season Jadis is throwing her coat like its going out of fashion, ahh the joys of the malamute. Neil decides as Poole is nice and close he and Storm will attend while I stay home in the mad house. Storm does very well and the judge is quite shocked that she is 6 as she moves so very well, she wins the malamute open class

going on to challenge for Best of Breed taking

well done Stormy and then in a big stakes class gets a very good 3rd place. This is our last show for June, hopefully Dollar will be out of season and the weather cools so we can get back in show mode again.

This month starts with Dollar in season still, so we miss Windsor Champ show sadly. The good news is the diet is going well and have now lost 31 1/2lbs so just over 2 stone. My Goal was to loose 3 stone each year so seems like it could be achievable this year

Dollars been out the ring for some time so we may do some companion shows just to get her back into the showing mode. The weather has been far to hot to get them out either so hopefully it will start to cool off a bit soon

With Dollar finally out of season we take the trip over the bridge to Tongwnlais Open Show with the three girls. Dollar has her silly head on but still getting 2nd in AVNSC Working Gradute and Storm takes a 2nd also in AVNSC Working Open. Jadis is shown by Neil and they do wonderfully taking

and then getting

well done Jumbly we are very pleased.

The Monday after the wales show we make the very long trip to the Stithians Open Show right down in Cornwall. Jadis and Storm both in Malamute Open Class with Jadis taking 3rd and Storm getting 2nd. Dollar moves and stands beautifully and takes

going on the take

We are so very pleased with her as we believe that was the last point she needed for the Kennel Club Award of the Show Certificate of Merit. The forms are sent off so we just have to wait and see to have it confirmed. She doesnt get anywhere in group as is rather lack lusture but we are so pleased with her and she and all our girls spent the day at the show having cuddles from lots of children

We have a lovely trip over to the Isle of White for their limit show. Our girls do us very proud and have a lovely relaxing day. Jadis takes 2nd in AV Working Limit mainly as she spots mummy and Storm hiding round the corner and looks for them all the way round. Storm does really well and gets

Dollar and I do very well in class getting

At the end of the day everyone who has a first and unbeaten went in for Best in Show, Dollar performs for me so very well and takes

We have the fantastic news and certificate from the kennel club to confirm that Dollar has achieved her Show Certificate of Merit at only just 19 months old!! She is now

After arriving at the Kingstone Show on the Saturday to be told they hadnt entered us as had never recieved our entry we managed to make it to Dorset show on the Sunday. It was very hot and Dollar is quite suffering with the heat. Shes very lack lusture in class but still takes a respectable 2nd place in the special yearling class. Storm goes in with daddy and fairs better getting

She goes back in for the challenge taking

Dollar goes into the AV Working Yearling class and wins it

Minehead is a midweek show set in the view of the gorgeous Dunster castle, Dollar still not liking the heat does very well winning her class

Storm again with daddy also wins her class

This means that Storm and Dollar challenge off for Best of Breed. They both have to do up and back, Storm powers but Dollar is un interested so practically walks. The judge gives Storm

and loving her in group as well see fit to place her

Dollar is also awarded

So so proud of my girls!! With this group placing it means all 4 of our current show team are eligable to enter in Dorsets Top Dog, with the girls in main classes and Gandalf in veteran

Last show for July and back over the bridge to Langstone show. We take all three girls but as Jadis is naked we just put Storm and Dollar in. Dollar wins her class

Storm also wins hers

They once again go head to head and this time Dollar takes

but Storm also takes

She and Neil then go into the AV Working class and win that by taking

and then awarded

Dollar and I do extremely well in group getting

and having good fun in the best in show ring the judge likes what she sees and gives Dollar

We are so over the moon you cant believe. This also qualfies her to compete for South Wales Dog of the Year!. Langstone is a beautiful show, all the rosettes are out of this world right down to the 1sts, and each of the group places was awarded a diploma and we had prize money for RBIS!! Not alot but Dollar treated us to a lovely chinese meal in the evening with her spends lol

The following day I had the great pleasure of judging at East of England Ladies Kennel Society, I was due to judge Mals, Sams and Eskis but unfortuntely no Eskis turned up on the day which was a shame as I was really looking forward to it. For My Mals I found my BOB in Zeelukzak Magic Moment, who then went on to get Working Group 2, looking stunning in the group. My RBOB was MLT Ch Equinox Woodvram Polarni Usvit, who took the Reserve Best of Breed Class by storm taking Best Reserve Best of Breed in Show, Awesome. BOS was Shepherdsway Regal Queen of Casiat, and BPIB was Casiat Dietzo Casa.

In My Samoyeds my BOB was Miakra Shes No Lady and my RBOB Miakra Rebel Warrior, I would like to thank all of my exhibitors for going under me, you made my day, I was quite over the moon with them in the groups, and it was a great pleasure to spend my day with you all. Thank you for allowing me to go over your beautiful dogs.

The day after the busy weekend Neil takes the girls to Paignton Champ show. He mainly wants to see if Dollar will behave for him, Storm unfortuntely doesnt place but Dollar is a completely good girl getting 2nd in the large post graduate bitch class

Vale of Glamorgan and Neil goes with Lynne and Sam, taking Jadis for the ride and Dollar to be shown. Sam takes Dollar in getting

she then gets

In a full compliment of the working group for the day Sam and the doo take

We are compltely chuffed to bits with this so anything else is a bonus. Sam and Doobah go into the BIS ring and power round. making us all at Keighanya so very proud when she gets

Wow what a day, thank you to Sam Etches Moore of Morval Finnish Lapphunds for her expert handling, to the Judges Breed and Group Mrs P Chadwick and BIS Mr Roger Millbank, and to 'nanny sue' for her continued support and for entrusting us with the doobah

At Bournemouth Jadis is under the weather so Neil goes with just Dollar and Storm, Dollar goes in with Sam and performs beautifully but isnt placed. Storm has recently moved up to Open Bitch at Champ shows and does us proud in an exceptionally strong class by taking Reserve.

The following day we pootle off to Mid Somerset show. I show Dollar and she behaves very well, having a bit of fun in the ring and getting

Storm also does well going in with Neil and taking

The girls then go in for the challenge and Dollar gets it

This show isnt based on the group system, so everyone in for BIS, unfortunately not placed but shes done us pround again. Our thanks to breed Judge Debbie Stansbury - Woodbriair for thinking so highly of Dollar.

A mid week show for us this week, and Sam kindly shows Dollar for me as I have some pains in my chest and arm. Neil also shows Storm. Neil and Storm take 2nd in the AVNSC Working Open class, Sam and Dollar moved like a dream getting

going on to take

and finishing off a lovely if somewhat wet day by taking the working group

Thank you again to Sam Etches Moore for handling Dollar and to the judge Sally Duffin Penney for thinking so highly of our girl.

Neil judges at Kent County, his first appointment. We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to go under him and make this a very special day.

The final weekend of the month and we travel down to Newton Abbot taking our three girls. Jadis is her usual fruity self but gets a respectable 2nd in her class. Dollar is completely on one and bounces round the ring, and the more I laughed the worse she got, the judge likes her though giving her

Storm and Neil also do well taking

then going on in the challenge to take

The judge is highly complimetary of Storms age and says we will have a lot of fun with her in the veteran classes, and she is a real credit to us and her breeder.

The following day we pootle off to Salisbury Open show, quite a long wait to go in the ring. Dolar wins her class taking

Storm wins her class with Jadis coming second

in the challenge Storm powers off in front and I have to keep a tight hold on Dollar as shes ready to go off onher bouncy mood again, but she does me proud powering round. I would much rather have a dog with a bit of spark than a robot. Storm takes it

and Dollar does well getting the

Storm again complimented in her age and how she looks. The judge also raves about Dollar, saying shes a cracking bitch just needs time to mature. Storm excels in the large group and gets

Alovely weekend, we decided not to do the last show on the monday as we and the dogs were tired. Thank you to both judges who thought so highly of our girls this weekend

Storm in Working Group
