We are Neil and Victoria Partridge-Bebb. Our house is currently taken over by 2 GSDs ( Keighley and Anya) and 5 Alaskan Malamutes (Gandalf, Storm, Maverick, Jadis and Dollar )

The Alaskan Malamutes are all worked in harness, competing in rallies run by AMWA, ABSA and BSHRA. They also enjoy agility classes. We will also be doing some weight pull events and hoping to have our malamutes gain their working pack dog titles, with backpacking

Gandalf, Storm, and Jadis and Dollar are all shown and have done very well at both Championship and Open show level. Gandalf in 2004 was the Top Special Beginner in the country and Joint 3rd Top Puppy in the U.K also (points achieved for the AMCUK award). Jadis and Dollar are both very new to the world of showing, But they appear to be settling down into it now. Neil and Vicki both show our dogs. We are looking forward to getting back into the ring a bit more

Vicki is on the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom judges breed specialist C list, also the Canadian Eskimo Dog, Bernese Mountain dog, Samoyed and Akita C judges list. Neil is on the Alaskan Malamute Club C List. They have both attended the Kennel Club seminars on Requirements of a dog show judge, Stewarding, Conformation and Movement, and Hands on Assessment. Any exams in conjunction with these have been passed.

Vicki and Neil are both on South West Working and Pastoral Breeds Association Committiee and the Christchurch and New Forest Canine Society Committiee

We are very proud of all our dogs, they are all well trained and hope that some of them will be entering a few fun obedience shows. Gandalf and Storm both attaining their Bronze Award Good Citizen on their first test. Storm and Jadis will also going to be put through their test to become PAT dogs. All our puppy's went through the Puppy School training programme, and Maverick started us off on clicker training which we now use with all our dogs.

Vicki has worked through the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour - What makes dogs tick course and received the certificate

We are very proud to be members of The Alaskan Malamute Working Association,The Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom ,the Tri State Alaskan Malamute Club, and the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain. We are also hoping to become members of The Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada and The Alaskan Malamute Club of America

We have been privileged to have met lots of wonderful people in the Alaskan Malamute world both here and all over the world, and want to thank both Gwynne and Ross Lewis of Kaiyuh Alaskan Malamutes, Jane and Pete York of Snowstruck Alaskan Malamutes, Sue Ellis of Chayo Alaskan Malamutes, and Ann Allen of Shepherdsway Kennels for giving us our beautiful dogs.

We are dedicated to helping the breed maintain its high standard. In 2005 we did a 25 mile walk and at our wedding raffled off a Teddy bear in aid of rescue. We also strongly believe that our dogs will do whatever they enjoy, if they don't like to show, then we don't show them, if the love to work then they will work, and being members of AMWA has continued to help us develop our knowledge and understanding especially of the working side, this being what Malamutes were originally bred for. We are happy to help out rescue when we can. When we have been donated money for doing the father christmas helpers we have donated this to rescue and have also helped out transporting or doing homechecks for dogs

We are always happy to be of help to new and old owners. or even people who are just interested in the breed so feel free to contact us for a chat
